People Who Influence How I Do Ministry - Andy Stanley

I love Andy Stanley's leadership podcast. I think Andy Stanley is an incredible communicator. He has an amazing ability to make everything he says seem obvious. I rarely hear him say something which sounds exceptionally deep. Instead, I usually leave thinking to myself, "Why didn't I think of that?" Some people might think that's a bad thing. It seems like a great thing to me.

I'm not a huge fan of his preaching (though it's all very engaging) because he leans further toward "felt needs" than I'm comfortable with (and he's too negative on verse by verse preaching). However, I could listen to his leadership talks over and over. I've literally listened to almost all of his leadership podcasts 3 or 4 times, and downloaded almost all of his talks from the Drive Conferences.

His leadership talks have helped me think through organizational leadership.
