You Have All the Grace You Need for Every Good Work

There are some passages of the Bible I don't understand why they're not preached or memorized more often.

Case in point.  A few of years ago I preached in big church on grace. I do no my best to always bring my A game for big church, but you REALLY don't want to mess up a sermon on grace.  So I did substantially more study/reading for this sermon than I do most. During my study one verse just absolutely jumped out at me.

2 Corinthians 9:8
And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

As I read that verse I kept thinking to myself, "How did I miss that?" The Bible is packed full of dense verses, but I can't think of many verses packed with so much encouragement.

Just stop and think about this:

God is able to make ALL grace ABOUND to you

...in ALL THINGS
...at ALL TIMES
...having ALL that you NEED

YOU WILL ABOUND in EVERY good WORK

This verse is a game changer. It removes all excuses for living a mediocre, safe life. There's no excuse for anxiety or timidity.

In every situation, in all things, at all times, we have ALL THE GRACE WE NEED for EVERY GOOD WORK.
